Three Tips to Building the Non-Profit Jigsaw Puzzle

People love a good jigsaw puzzle; the challenge of looking at the top of the box and trying to find the edges and then work to the middle.  My sister  sometimes make it more challenging hiding the top of the box with the final image.  This way she has to remember how they go together and try to put the puzzles together using just the edges as a guide.

Turning Donors into Heroes

People give where they can be easily can become heroes in the story of a changed life.   I am realizing people are making decisions on where to invest and what to build with their resources based on a non-profit’s ability to create giving opportunities that are easy and make a lasting impact in the lives of people.

Least resistance.  How can I make it easy for them to give and serve?  This is not the same for everyone.   Listening to people will help us find out what is the easiest way for them to participate in making a lasting impact in the life of an individual.  At this point, brainstorming should turn into heart-storming.  What is in the heart of this donor that will turn them into a cheerful giver?  How can I help them easily become a champion?  This doesn’t have to take a lot of time. But we do have to take the time.
